Topics:
1) RESPECT FOR OTHERS
Such parts of our story we tell to someone who will understand, yet be unaffected. The rule is we must be hard on ourself, but always considerate of others. Respect for others is the lesson that I take out of this passage. I must go to any lengths to free myself if I wish to find that peace of mind that I have sought for so long – DAILY REFLECTIONS pg 74
2) LIVE AND LET LIVE
There are people in A.A, and everywhere else, who sometimes say things we disagree with, or do things we don’t like. Learning to live with differences is essential to our comfort. It is exactly in those cases that we have found it extremely helpful to say to ourselves, “Oh, well, ‘Live and Let Live.'” In fact, in AA much emphasis is placed on learning how to tolerate other people’s behavior. – Living Sober
3) SELF CARE
“Today, I will not wait for others to see and care; I will take responsibility for being aware of my pain and problems, and caring about myself.” – Language of Letting Go
4) TAKING ONE STEP
Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tiptoe if you must, but take the step – Naeem Callaway
