2)We often urge ourselves to hurry up when there’s no good reason for it. At such times, all we really do is create needless tension and anxiety.
The slogan “EASY DOES IT” is our answer to such calls to hurry. The slogan suggests that we simply move into the rhythms of life and “go with the flow.”
DAY BY DAY
3)It’s that first fix, pill,or drink that gets us high. It’s not the second or third or fourth one, or the second day or the second week of using that gets us into trouble. It is the first one. DAYS OF HEALING DAYS OF JOYÂ
4) As we travel the road to recovery, our Higher Power is always moving with us. This is the energy that travels with us from where we are to where we are going, from what is to what can be, from good to better, from better to best.Â
Our lives are always in process, moving, changing. To begin to see our Higher Power in that way is to recognize the power behind our power and the thought behind our thoughts. God is the energy that moves us from death to life.Â
We don’t travel alone.
