- vice-chair person for business and steering meetings
- Length of feedback from hosts
- Speaker Meeting once a week. – Sunday
- In the sibling meetings, it might be helpful to ask participants to turn their cameras on to ensure they aren’t bombers as they come in. Often, we are tight with cohosts and it might help deter bombers from the main GUTS meeting. I’ve seen it done effectively in smaller meetings.
- Strike Policy – Bringing up 3 Scheduling issues on behalf of someone (some of these have been suggested in the past but not addressed): (1.) Enforcement of the “3 No Show = Suspension rule”: Can we vote on whether the scheduler may be in charge of this? (Note: As Steering Committee, our job is to serve by promoting group conscience… we don’t and should not be involved in enforcing this. It should be designated per group conscience to the appropriate personnel.) (2.) Service Breaks – How long is a “break” from service? Can we define the length of breaks? (3.) Threads – Can we define who can be in the service threads? They are available on the website to individuals not in service. Individuals are also able to add themselves at this time prior to being in Service. Should those on break be in the threads?
- Cohost having to wait to be cohosted.
- I suggest that we add the word “Strive” To make GUTS a safe place. In our Singleness of purpose.
