Whether we took our drugs in liquid, powder, pill or smoke, we poured our money into feeding our addiction. We poured our time and attention into feeding our addiction too.
What a difference recovery makes. We now have time, a clear mind and money we didn’t have before

We can lose sight of the difference between what happened yesterday and what can happen today. We can allow yesterday’s resentments to become today’s facts or yesterday’s expectations become today’s prophecies.
Today’s possibilities need not be limited by the past. I choose to be happy and healthy for this twenty-four hours.
