DAILY REFLECTIONS

1) Offer him [the alcoholic] friendship and fellowship. Tell him that if he wants to get well you will do anything to help.

POWER IN THE PAUSE

2)  “Letting go. ”

I was told I had two choices: let go or get dragged!

Some things I’ve not wanted to let go of; however, if I didn’t let go, I was going to drink! And I knew if I drank, I would die!

In those times where it feels like my life is falling apart and letting go will kill me, it has actually been those times where I get closer to God. I have learned to trust Him even when I don’t like it and accept that I don’t need things to be ‘my way’ to be okay.

GOD GRANT ME…

3) The farther behind I leave my past, the closer I am to forgiving my own character. —Isabelle Eberhardt
