DAILY REFLECTIONS 

1) The way our “worthy” alcoholics have sometimes tried to judge the “less worthy” is, as we look back on it, rather comical. Imagine, if you can, one alcoholic judging another!

​2) The more we become willing to depend upon a Higher Power the more independent we actually are. 

When step three is fully embraced and practiced, I no longer have to be dependent on people or circumstances. I can become free, every time, without fail, through dependency on Him! I’m free to be me without trying to change the world and the people in it. 

GOD GRANT ME….

3) Recovery helps us become rich in freedom, friendship, hope, and better health. 

The Promises tell us that economic insecurities will leave us as we work the steps. That doesn’t mean we suddenly get a lot of possessions and money. Instead we will discover that our fears over money and daily problems will subside. We start to believe we have enough. 

FORGIVING AND MOVING ON 

4) Today I will not hold myself hostage to my own dysfunctional behavior. I can change. Much of my behavior is composed of habits I learned in childhood. When I carry these habits and attitudes unexamined into my life today, I create a present life that, underneath, looks like my past life. I will take a good, hard look at what I’m unconsciously repeating today and I will get the support and help I need to make changes. … Courage to change the things I can…​
