2) If progress could be bought, we wouldn’t need meditating. If personal transformation resulted from collecting new ideas, we’d have been transformed long ago. Looking for all the inspiration and wisdom we can find is necessary for growth. But change is doing.
Today, I will take the best plan and put it into action. Today I will say less and do more.

The 12 steps are a map to a new path. My disease is arrested! Not cured. I still do the same things today as I did in those first few days, weeks, months. I absolutely 100% accept this way of life!
God Grant Me…
4) God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change…
As active alcoholics, we refused to accept our illness; we struggled against chains we could not remove. When we accepted our illness, energy that went to our illness is freed up to be used for our recovery, our healing.
The Serenity Prayer is about reaching out for our Higher Powers peace, grace, and healing..
