1.EQUAL RIGHTS
At one time or another most A.A. groups go on rule-making benders. . . After a time fear and intolerance subside. [and we realize] We do not wish to deny anyone his chance to recover from alcoholism. We wish to be just as inclusive as we can, never exclusive.

2.THE PINK CLOUD EFFECT
Pink clouding involves feelings of euphoria and elation in recovery and offers a much-needed perspective shift. If you haven’t felt optimistic or excited about life in a long time, you might feel even more enticed by this vision of what life can look like.

3.WORKING WITH OTHER ALCOHOLICS
“Practical experience shows that nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics. It works when other activities fail.”
So, in the end, we try to carry this message to other alcoholics because we know that in so doing it keeps us sober. We aren’t responsible for someone getting sober, just as we aren’t responsible for someone getting drunk. We are responsible for the output and our loving and benevolent Higher Power is responsible for the outcome.

4.TREASURES OF LIFE
“It is by going down into the abyss that we recover the treasures of life. Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.”
