2) STEPS 2,3 & 11
The fundamental basis of A.A. is a belief in some Power greater than ourselves. Let us not take this lightly. We cannot fully get the program without this venture of belief. Have I made the venture of belief in a Power greater than my own?
3) CONTROL
Our most dangerous delusion is that we can control others. The hard-won truth is that we can control only ourselves—and it may take us a lifetime to learn this.
4) TRADITION 3
The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking. This principle ensures that anyone who seeks sobriety is welcome in the fellowship, regardless of their background, circumstances, or past actions.
