DAILY REFLECTIONS

1) Sometimes A.A. comes harder to those who have lost or rejected faith to those who never had any faith at all, for they think they have faith and found it wanting. They have tried the way of faith and the way of no faith.

TWELVE STEPS AND TWELVE TRADITIONS p. 28

BIG BOOK

2) Simple, but not easy; a price had to be paid. It meant destruction of self-centeredness. I must turn in all things to the Father of Light who provides over us all.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

p. 14

WALK IN DRY PLACES

3) Honesty makes us comfortable rather than pained, relaxed rather than anxious, and decisive rather than confused. These are rich rewards for people who once lived in the false world of alcoholism. I’ll try to be honest in all things today. In any case, I will at least be honest with myself about my true motives and feelings.

POCKET SPONSOR

4) We find that the difference between adventure and disaster usually boils down to attitude. It’s like the glass half full or half empty. Is it a problem or an opportunity; an obstruction or a challenge for growth? The way you choose to see it makes all the difference. I don’t see things as they are, I see things as I am.
